The IT Zone
The IT Zone is a social enterprise providing ICT and core services to the voluntary, community and faith sector organisations in the North West.We provide quality and professional services to the sector. We aim to build capacity and sustainability through technology in the following areas:
- Local infrastructure organisations.
- SME's.
- Front line delivery organisations.
- Members of the community.
We work to reduce marginalisation and increased socio-economic inequalities for those who are "digitally excluded” For instance the elderly and those in lower socio-economic groups.
Our organisation provides professional, friendly, quality, social inclusive ICT training and support to address barriers to self development such as rural isolation, physical and learning disabilities, mental ill health, inequality of opportunity due to culture, age, gender, faith etc...
Our services are all focussed towards inclusion and the effective use of technology to positively address and support the Governments white paper on digital exclusion.
